Scalp cooling begins with pre-meds for the patient and continues throughout the chemotherapy regimen, and then ofr an additional 90 to 120 minutes post chemotherapy
The reservoir is filled with 1-1/2 cups of traditional ice, 1/5 cup of water, and 3 cups of isopropyl alcohol
