The hyperextended neck allows the user to determine the proper incision site
The trachea in the simulator is replaceable
The airway passes completely through from top to bottom, and this allows checking the stylet and obturator placement once incision has been made
Ties can be used to hold the obturator in a secure position, and inflation of the simulated lung verifies correct placement
The simulator comes with 6 replaceable neck skins, 6 adult trachea inserts (4 rigid, 2 soft), 6 child teachea inserts (4 rigid, 2 soft), and 2 simulated lungs
